Terms
Terms of Service
Last updated: 11 June 2026
These terms govern your use of Postlift. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. Please read them — especially the sections on what you’re responsible for when publishing, and on warranties and liability.
1. The service
Postlift, at postlift.co, learns your writing voice from your own public posts on X, drafts new posts and repurposed content in that voice, and predicts the likely reach of each draft. Postlift is a drafting and analysis tool. It does not publish for you: you publish to X yourself, through X’s own composer (Web Intent), and you decide what — if anything — goes out.
2. Eligibility and account
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract, and you must have the right to connect the X account you link. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity under it. Connecting X uses read-only OAuth scopes; Postlift cannot post or otherwise act on your X account.
3. Subscription and billing
Plans and trial
Postlift is offered on a subscription: €29 per month or €290 per year. New subscriptions start with a 7-day free trial. Prices are in euros and exclude any taxes that may apply.
Payment
Billing is handled by Stripe. By subscribing you authorise us, through Stripe, to charge your payment method the recurring fee for your chosen plan at the start of each billing period until you cancel. Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable for periods already started.
Renewal and cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and you keep access until then. If your trial ends without an active subscription, paid features stop.
Price changes
We may change prices for future billing periods. We will give reasonable notice before a change affects you, and you may cancel if you don’t agree.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Postlift to generate or publish content that is unlawful, deceptive, harassing, hateful, infringing, or that impersonates others;
- generate spam, run coordinated inauthentic behaviour, or otherwise attempt to manipulate the X platform;
- reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or attempt to circumvent the usage limits or security of the service;
- use the service to violate the rights of any third party or any applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or that create legal or security risk.
5. Your content and your responsibility
Postlift produces drafts. You are solely responsible for everything you publish on X. Because you publish through X’s own composer, the decision to post — and the content of what you post — is yours. You are responsible for reviewing drafts for accuracy, originality, and appropriateness before publishing, and for complying with X’s Terms and rules. AI-generated text can be wrong, biased, or unintentionally similar to existing material; treat all output as a starting point, not finished, verified copy.
You retain ownership of the content you create. You grant us the limited licence needed to process your posts and generate drafts for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. X platform compliance
Postlift integrates with X under X’s developer and platform terms and uses read-only access. Your use of X through or alongside Postlift remains subject to X’s own terms and policies. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp., and X may change its platform or API in ways that affect the service.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep Postlift available and accurate, but we may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. The service depends on third parties (including X, our LLM provider, and our infrastructure providers) whose availability we don’t control.
8. No warranty
Postlift is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that predicted scores will match actual performance, or that generated content is accurate, original, or fit for any particular purpose.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Postlift will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or reputation, arising from your use of the service or anything you publish. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence).
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Postlift against claims, losses, and costs arising from content you publish or from your breach of these terms or of applicable law.
11. Termination
You may stop using Postlift and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, for non-payment, or where required for legal or security reasons. On termination, your right to use the service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (such as liability, indemnity, and governing law) continue to apply.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION — founder to set], and the courts of that jurisdiction will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product and our obligations evolve. When we make material changes we will update the “last updated” date above (11 June 2026) and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
